M/s SKN Freight Terminal (SKNFT) Private Limited, incorporated on 29th July 2021 as a Private Limited company under the Companies Act, 2013 (18 of 2013) has been promoted by Mr. Satish Chopra and Mr. Karan Chopra to setup a Green Field Private Freight Terminal (PFT) at Dharuhera, District Rewari, Haryana for providing efficient and reliable multi modal logistics support for export and domestic trade & commerce. The company’s Registered Office is located at 12, Forest Lane, Ghitroni, New Delhi.

About SKN Freight Terminal
A subsidiary company namely SKN Freight Terminal Private Limited has been established for setting up a Private Freight Terminal (PFT) providing railway based logistic services and other ancillary services at New Dharuhera Station, District Rewari (Haryana) on Western Dedicated Freight Corridor being developed by Dedicated Freight Corridor Corporation of India Limited.
The Western Dedicated Freight Corridor (WDFC) is a broad-gauge freight corridor under construction by DFCCIL. It will connect Dadri near India's capital, Delhi with India's economic hub, Navi Mumbai. This corridor will cover a distance of 1483 km and would be electrified with double line operation.
Western DFC is exclusively for transporting the freight at higher speed with increased load carrying capacity. Main freight includes containers, fertilizers, food grains, salt, coal, iron, steel and cement.
The company has been issued a Letter of award from The Dedicated Freight Corridor Corporation of India Ltd, a company promoted and owned by the Govt. of India under the Ministry of Railways.
The Company will develop, manage and operate Private Freight Terminal (PFT) at New Dharuhera. The facility is expected to be operational by April 2024. The facility shall provide multi-model logistics solutions to customers

Mr. Satish Chopra
Founder and Chairman
Mr. Satish Chopra, aged 67, a graduate of Sri Venkateshwara College (DU) University, embarked on his manufacturing journey in 1977 with SKN-Bentex. This brand became synonymous with quality Switch Gears, Motor Control Panels, and Change Over Switches. In 1983, he established SKN Associates Pvt. Ltd, focusing on manufacturing LPG Equipment like Pressure Regulators and Adaptors. These products are now recognized across India and neighboring countries.
In 1992, he introduced SKN Industries Ltd, crafting Industrial Commercial Equipment including LPG Cylinders, Valves, Regulators, supplying esteemed oil giants BPCL, IOCL, HPCL. Guiding his companies against adversity and fierce competition, Mr. Chopra's leadership catalyzed their growth, garnering a commendable reputation. Some companies that began as modest ventures under his guidance flourished remarkably, earning the group a prominent name and market standing.
As the Founder and Chairman of SKN Group, Mr. Chopra's extensive experience in City Gas Distribution further fueled his strategic vision. His foresight, dynamic approach, and adept team have expanded the SKN-HCGDPL network from Gurugram and Bhiwadi to its current presence in Pondicherry.
Mr. Karan Chopra
Director
Mr Karan Chopra, aged about 36 years, is a graduate in Chemical Engineering and Master of Business Administration from Drexel University, USA. After completion of studies, he joined his family business and is closely associated with day to day activities of the company. He joined the business in 2010 as CEO & Director, with a vision to develop and expand the infrastructure and network of the group companies. He has been a key person in achieving new bench mark in SKN-HCGDPL’s project expansion in Gurugram, Bhiwadi and Pondicherry.
